Ac or dc fired cdi

I have a 01 People 50 2 stroke. Is this a ac or dc fired cdi? Can not find this information

 Thanks for the information.  My confusion comes in where my bike has two wires in the two plug and three wires in the four plug which by that video would make it an AC fired CDI. But when I bought it, it was not running and had a bigger unit in it. That would make it a dc fired unit. One of the wires has 12 volts at the cdi. When I try to start I get .4 volts going to the cdi. I question this because of no spark. Everything has been changed and checked.

You could try giving these guys a call.  Sure they could help you.  Wish I knew more. (Yes I too was confused by the video). From what I looked up online I would almost guess dc...but hopefully the guys at rolling wrench Denver can help you out . They are super nice
