Dies after running well for aboute 20 minutes
« on: August 29, 2018, 03:50:52 PM »
Hello. Followed the tuning guide and removed all plugs, and fixed the cdi (I did this before I got all the parts for the scooter), and got it running quite well. Not 42mph (96kmh) only 32mph (55kmh), and can run the scooter for aboute 15-20 minutes but after that it quickly loses power then dies. It needs aboute 3-4 min cooldown and then I can start it again.

Anyone knows what's the problem is aboute? I really don't care aboute the speed right now since I'm waiting for a new exhaust system and a new variator from eBay, I just need to know how to get it reliable.

Thanks. And I'm sorry for my terrible English, I'm from Sweden and haven't been using my English in quite a while.

Your English is just fine! When it dies is the engine able to revolve with kick starter or electric starter (if equipped) right away?
