...g-lo, i'm running a 729-17.7-30...

..it's slightly longerthan the oem bando...

..allows the belt to ride slightly higher on the variator's drive face...

..creates higher top speeds, but might require some further cvt tuning...


..i'm loving seeing the speedometer hit 60mph....

Just installed the polini variator (with no impact wrench! I did the "Jam a wrench into the case, then torque on it as hard as you can, till it comes off and you fall on your a**" technique). It came with 6.9 gram rollers.

What I have noticed:
Top speed didn't really go up that much, may have even gone down a mile or two. What I did notice is that my acceleration is much smoother, more of a linear progression instead of coming in waves. I can now maintain a good 30 mph up a pretty substantial hill, and my takeoff speeds are quicker.  ;D

Thanks for the input. 

Think I'll order the malossi since it comes with 2 sets of rollers and the torque driver spring.

I'll fill you in on how that goes.
Im usually on a bicycle, so for me, this thing is hauling ass!

Think I'll order the malossi

..i need to get me another malossi...i loved that variator..ran it HARD for 15,000 kms....
