I was a bartender... bourbon and water or seven or ice or neat or press or sour or manhattan or soda (water) or coke
whatever you want is fine with me.
I guess I should explain... when I make a drink with any brown liquor and clear mix, the darker the drink... the stronger the drink. the lighter coleored the drink the weaker the drink is.
When i poured a good (strong) drink, it was "well" colored.
fyi... the more ice in the cup , the stronger the drink; the less ice in a cup, the weaker the drink, you are buying ONE shot of liquor. If you added a little ice and one shot, it will take a lot of mixer to fill the cup to make a weak drink. If you started with LOTS of ice, added your one shot, you only a small amount of room for mixer and now have a strong drink. Either way... you still only getting one shot.
