Just wanted to thank Stig and everyone on this forum for all your help and support though the past year and a half.

I felt I needed a little more for my day to day commuting in NYC so I found a good deal on a 2015 CB500X ABS with 9,000 miles on it, but I'm going to miss the girl.  I loved my Like and what a great way to get to know two wheels in this crazy city after 20 years off.

I'll still check in and god willing  I'll almost certainly see another scooter again in my future.

And, great choice in the new ride! Much taller, isn't it?  Or do you have the lower kit?
We love my son's CB500X. ...he purchased it with 1,500 on the clock.
Build quality is superb. Put a fender/chain hugger on it to keep things cleaner....tailblazer pulsing brake bulb, adjustable levers, skid pegs and a aftermarket pipe. Great bike.
Can I be nosey?....what did you pay for yours? Private sale or dealer?
Son has added an R6 and is thinking of selling the CB500X.

I paid $4,200 from a dealer for a 2015 with ABS and new tires, bike has definitely been ridden but it's in great shape.  I think I got a good deal, the next cheapest I found with ABS was around $6,000, it was a big dealer outside of Philly, in Depford, NJ and I think the dealer just wanted to get the bike off the floor, but they cleaned it up nice for me.

I'll certainly consider some of your suggested upgrades, I already added a center stand and upgraded the head and tail lights to plug and play LED's; when I bought them for the Like they both came in pairs so I had the extra lamps.  I also bought some luggage, but I miss the scooters storage for sure.

As for the height, it feels bigger then it is at first, it is noticeably heaver, but at 5'11" I can flat foot it pretty easily, now I just gotta get comfortable in the voluminous traffic of NYC rush hour, it feels like I'm learning all over again, but it's an awful lot of fun.
