Made it look simple.

My P250 requires about 90 ft/pounds to break the Variator nut loose.

Great little video.

The Kymco Super 8 servicemanual says to use between 5,5 - 6,5 kg-m torque.
That should be the same as 40 - 47 pound-feet.

I dont have a torque wrench but you have i good feeling when tightning the nut when doing it this way compared to using a impact electric tool.

That would be a "one size fits all"  wrench.;)
ZX50, 47mm cyl. kit, TZR50 CDI. Michelin Pilot Sport tyres,
Next performance mod; pumping the tyres up.

The little wrench is a 9 mm. That fits on my scooter but i think other tool brands might not be the exact same length.

Anyone have any thoughts on using a piston stop for loosening/tightening the variator nut?

I think it should be just fine to use a pistion stopper.
