Nope should be fine.  The under fender (on the tire) is long enough to stop the water.  At most the break light might get a little.

Looks good.  I like the more open look that it gives. 

I only ride in the rain if it is a surprise.  I can do cold or hot but not rain or snow.

Yep, you're gonna need it too, if you keep going. Hitting 60 now, soon she'll be flipping you off the back. ;)

Nice mods, and nice looking "Green Dragon."  Nothing like a bright color to be seen by other drivers and pleasant to look at too!
