I once got caught in snow, with no other way home.  Put my feet out wide like little  pontoons and skidded my way down the road.  In retrospect it was one of my more idiotic moves, something only a very young man would do. Lived to tell the tale but never pushed my luck that far again.

I wish I could blame my 3 snowy rides on youth.
Closest I've been to being hit - while commuting home from work in snow (forecast was off a bit)...
I'm watching the pavement through the snow in my face when a green pickup ran a stop sign to my right.  Ordinarily I would have spotted him sooner. Cold road was free of the windblown snow, I braked and he just missed me.
I was not attentive to the traffic - but to the snow. A mistake I have  learned from.
