(Happy) Yager owner since August 19th. Went over 300 miles just today and will be scheduling my first service check.

Name: Scooterwolf
Area: South New Jersey (Jersey Devil country) and Philadelphia
Occupartion: College professor, animator, filmmaker and producer

Highlights today - Bridge toll - $4.00 round trip. Beat a Ford F-150 over the Ben Franklin Bridge this morning. The look on his face in my sideview mirror - priceless.

Thanks, 'Slinger. It was a great day to be riding, despite the heat. Tomorrow I'm a little worried about the effects of Hurricane Earl on the Jersey shore. Philly's expecting rain and wind.

Or maybe not.

Just saw that NC has some flooding on its outer islands and some power outages. Hope you're doing well. Nothing from the sky up here in Philly. So ... where's the James Bond converter submarine button on our bikes?

You know... the only surprising thing in your story about going over the bridge and beating an F150 is that you had to pay $4 in toll...  don't you count as a "car pool" and don't you get a free ride??

I'd be happy if it were just $2.00 again - a dollar per wheel. But, no. Welcome to the corrupt and incompetent world of DRPA - Delaware River Port Authority.

Great machine! Over 1600 miles averaging 70-80 mpg and more fun and enjoyment than I deserve! We live in an RV full-time and cover the US.

Well, hit my first milestone - over three hundred miles. Took my scooter to be serviced today, though I kind of regret it considering it's the Labor Day weekend. Even worse, my wife expressed a desire to go riding with me -- and she's been luke warm about my new venture! Still, I have Tuesday off and plan to do a little riding that day too.

A friend of mine asked if I've come of with a name for my scooter. Hadn't thought about it, though a few people say it looks like something Darth Vader wound ride, or the Batcycle.

So, anyone have names for their bikes?

Okay, it's good to know I'm not crazy for not wanting one too. Gypsy -- cool name.
