Farewell Super 8 150
« on: May 04, 2019, 07:49:07 PM »
I bought my 2009 Super 8 150 new in November of 2010 for under $2200 OTD.  It was my first scooter.  I wanted to try out scooting without spending too much money.  The Super 8 was a home run.  It turned out to be one of the most fun bikes I have owned and I have owned a lot of bikes.

I took it out for one last ride yesterday.

.

It still runs strong but I have already bought a Like 150i to replace it.  It sold it to some friends.  They came yesterday afternoon and picked it up.  If they like it just half as much as I did then there will be two more scooter converts out there.

Looking back I can say that maybe one of the reasons I liked this scooter so much is that I did a bit more on it than the average small scooter rider.

Riding through Deal's Gap (Known as the dragon by tourists)

.

I wasn't afraid to take it off the pavement.

I rode it to some great places to ride.

.

.

.

It was a blast to ride at Gymkanna.

I even went touring on it.

It was a blast on twisty roads, the twistier the better.

I'm going to miss it but it was time to move on.

Great pictures! That next to last shot looks like a road between Townsend and Pigeon Forge. Good looking bike!

Great pictures and I know great memories! I know you got may more than your money's worth out of this scooter. Nice that you sold it to folks you know so you can still keep tabs on it.
