Looks like the Hiflo oil filter is a good deal if it works okay. I ordered a Kymco oil filter from a dealer today, P/N 1541A-KKC-900 and the price is $20.

Sounds like were scooting around the same place. I live in Collingswood, NJ and come across the Ben Franklin bridge nearly everyday to work in CC. Glad to hear you dropped the Chinese scoot. I almost purchased one until I discovered that they offered no parts and no one would do service on them. Have nothing but praise for my Yager.
Did you ride in yesterday with the rain?

I try not to ride in the rain. I'm 59 and can't afford to lay the new scoot or my old body down. My Chinese scoot worked pretty good for me, at least I realized that I enjoyed riding. I did all maintenance on it.
