Downtown 300i, 600 then every 3000 miles. Was using Mobil 1 0W40 but went to Castrol full synthetic 10W30 because of price. Log in memo pages at rear of operators manual. Anyone need an OM for a DT300i? I have an extra....

By the book oil change every 10,000 Km.s  = 6,250  miles,   on my Piaggio B V 350  2016 I change the oil around 4,000 miles , and never a low oil reading on the dip stick,   lately I am using rotel T6 for engine and oil for tranny piaggio oil  ( wet clutch, )     I am now at 24,514 Km.s ,  the scooter will be 2 years old,  on the road old,   Aug. 30 2019

Current 2019 XTownn 300i-----every 1,000 miles.  Reason no oil filter, small crankcase capacity, 1 qt, engine works hard.   WalMart house brand 10-40----been using it over 500,000 miles---Honda Scooters/bikes, Suzuki bikes and scooters, Mitsuibishi Mirage, Miatas. Oil priced right/available just about any where in US.  Never engine trouble on stuff run hard.

oil change at end of every riding season for scooter. I only put a few hundred miles on it each year. Changed gear oil along with engine oil first 2 changes but have since gone to every other year due to low miles ridden.

Current oil is Rotella T5, syn blend, 15W-40, gear oil is Royal Purple synthetic 75W-90. Previous years I used Rotella T6 5W-40. Scoot uses no oil between changes...only has ~2400 miles.

2010 People S 200. Keep a spreadsheet on my laptop for each vehicle (and outdoor power equipment - mower, snow blowers, etc.) listing miles (or hours, I have hour meters on mower and 2 stage snowblower), date, service done, etc.

I couldn't remember my maintenance performed if you paid me...that's why I write it down!

Changed the gearbox oil with Walmart Super Tech synthetic right away. No sticky puddles so it's still in there....

Once a year, in late fall.  I don't usually put more than 1,000 miles per season on each of the three registered scooters and the motorcycle; life and work get in the way. Wife's little Honda Metro is two years old and has less than 500 miles on it. I like to have the engines marinate in clean oil when they sit for the winter.

Agree, regardless of mileage I've read that oil and (underseat emergency rations -Moon Pies) should be tossed every 12 mos.
Make coffee and eat both of them while watching the oil drain.

2009 Agility 125.

Engine oil - Castrol 15 W 40  synthetic, every 2000 km.
The scooter does about 900+ km per month, so the oil gets changed slightly more than every two months.
At more than 13 300km, there is no need for oil top ups between oil changes.

Gearbox oil - 80 W 90 GL4 mineral, will change every 5000km in future. (Changed at 2000 km previously, but found oil perfectly clean).
No oil leaks.

Oil maintenance,  fuel records, and all maintenance costs get noted in a logbook - stored under the seat.

Life is a journey. Just spend some time, and enjoy the trip.

Manual for Cali Classic 200i recommends synthetic oil changed every 620 miles.
Using Motul 7100 10-40W w Lucas Oil Stabilizer, change at 650-700 miles, as scoot has just 3000 miles.
Gear oil recommended to change every 3000 mi, probably do it closer to 2500 using Lucas 85-140W.

I write the date and mileage on a piece of painters tape on the oil container, as well as on a wall calendar.
2014 BV 350  "IndiGO" (fast, strong and tireless)
2006 Honda Rebel 250  "Snow Leopard" (stealthy, agile and durable)
2018 Lance Cali Classic 200i  "Black Panther" (smooth, nimble, quiet and quick)
2016 Wolf V-50 (sold)

Wanted a Kymco, ended up w a Lance, but that forum is inactive, so I am here

Interesting - Motul is not exactly an off-brand, cheap, oil and changed at @700 miles!!. Why the oil additive?
Aren't you concerned you'll be fouling the chemical recipe of that super good oil?
