2010 Kymco Agility

Hey all newb here and first kymco. Heck first scooter in a long long time lol. Just bought this today with title. Scoot has 47 miles on it. Its in mint condition. 1 owner. A guy bought it for his nephew who rode it 1 day then his nephew passed away. I know,i know horrible circumstances. Well they put it in storage for last few yrs now there moving and decided to sell it. Here are my issues. Charged the battery horn brake lights and turn signals work and high beam works. Starter button doesnt turn it over i do hear a slight clicking sound i assume is coming from starter relay. Kick starter cranks fine but not trying to start. Fresh gas and oil. Soooo what advice would you guys have as far as wear i should start? Sorry for long post just trying to let you all know the whole situation.

Clean the carburetor thoroughly.  Clean all connections from the battery to the starter thoroughly.

Ok i sure will. I did take a look quickly that is and the battery terminals look great brand new no corosion at all. Thanks for quick reply. I will be getting into it tom am and will post update. Thanks again

p.s. I'd also check voltage at the starter relay.

A few years is how many? I suspect your battery is sulfated and will never hold a proper charge. Load test will verify this. Replace if it fails the load test.

Roughly 3 yrs. he did say he just replaced the battery though. Does look new although it was dead once i got it home and tried starting it. Also appears to be a cheap one from carquest. I was gonna pull the 1 from my zuma that i know is a new/better one and see.

UPDATE - Ok i got it everything off.  All connections are tight and very very clean like new zero corrosion. Still cant get it to turn over with starter button. Relay has a slight click. I can kick start it which is very strong as i suspected since it only has 50 miles on it. Took the starter out looks brand new spins freely by hand. Id hate to have to just start buying parts - relay - starter - ignition coil etc. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ok mind you im far from a electrician but solid red wire for relay 12.5 red wire with white stripe ( assume for starter) 0. Battery 12.7 bout to pull my hair out. Wish i knew more about electrical

Yes the starter relay. I also assume the red wire with white stripe wont have power till the relay closes (clicks) to relay power to the starter so it will be dead until relay closes if im understanding it all correctly. Soooo took the starter out as ive mentioned previously hooked a wire up to my positive terminal on my battery then to the positive terminal on starter then hooked a ground up,to the flange on the starter then clipped the other end of ground to clean spot on frame and nothing starter still wouldnt work.now again battery showing 12.7 volts so looks like new starter it is. Thoughts? Hopefully this will get it to at least crank over
