Agility 50 slown down going downhill
« on: July 30, 2019, 04:05:01 PM »
Hi I am new to this having just recently bought an agility 50 for my son. It has been fine but has just developed a strange fault. The scooter starts and runs fine but when going down any steep, long hill it will begin to slow down to the point where you have to pull over and stop as it is too slow to keep going. The engine has not cut out and it idles happily and if you let it run for a minute or so it will go again but soon slow down again until you reach flat ground when it will immediately pull away and run normally. It makes no sense to me as you would think that it would go better downhill, but it just keeps slowing down. I am baffled and the dealer is none the wiser.

Perhaps the dealer should try to replicate the issue by putting the scooter on an incline in the shop and running a test. It sounds like a fuel starvation issue that could be a float level problem or fuel line feed.
