No flat spot with 3x14 & 3x11g  , but you have to change them every 5000 kms because 14gs become completely torn.

That's the reason I'm trying to get all 6 the same size.. should last longer.

Kymco makes 12,4g rollers which are as close as it gets to your 11&14g setup,
about 150kn in Kymco shops. Maybe you'll have better luck with those.

I'm still waiting for a reply on 13g ones..
AutoKreso used to have all kinds and sizes, NONE available now.
Go figure.

First time drove A125 with Dr. Pulley 13g sliders, after three weeks took it to work.

Overall, it feels more like OEM 14g roller weights up to 80 km/h (did not get the chance to drive it faster due to configuration of the road). There is again a "no power" flat spot, but now it is between 35 and 40 km/h and does not present a problem. With mixed rollers it was even lower.

I think it is geared higher now and will have higher top speed than with OEM rollers, comparable to the top it had with mixed rollers. Will have to go to highway to test it though.

The acceleration is very smooth and effortless and it has slightly different noise from the vario, but just a tad.

Now I have a shudder when starting, quite pronounced. How did you fix it in the end, cleaned the clutch? Were the clutch pads glazed?

Sounds good, I read that even when you replace the stock weights with the same weight
pulleys you still get better acceleration. I'm starting to doubt that my weights are 13g, they're
probably 12,4g.. This thing just revs too much.

I've done a short trip on mine last weekend and ended up with 3,8l/100km averaging 50-52mph.
That same ride with previous roller weights and never under 55-60mph resultet in 3,13l/100km.

How much did you pay for the DR.Pulls?

Shudder was fixed by cleaning the clutch and everything around it, but it came back in a day or
so, the pads were glazed just slightly, that shouldn't have caused the problem.

The easiest way to fix it was to open the throttle all the way, pull in both brakes.. and then
slowly let go of the brakes just enough to make the bike roll.. 2-3mph.. Repeated that 3-4
times, by the time you could smell the burning clutch.. it was fixed permanently.

Got 15.000km on the clock now, the problem never came back.
You put the dr pulleys the correct way in hopefully?
Probably just greasy hand are the cause of your problems.. that'll also fix itself but can
be very annoying.

Had the same problem, started to get really annoyed with the shudder. Today I did the method you described, and the shudder is gone!!!

Thank you Cortez!!!!

I have 17,000 k on my belt but i do have a little shudder at 75mph. i think im gonna replace my belt too. It still has the stock kymco belt. I can tell a little diffrence in performance where my belt is stretched a little. Im afraid to go really far on it till i get a belt. Ive still not decided between kevlar, aftermarket like athena, or going back with a oem kymco belt. Anybody?

OEM belts, as you can see, last a very long time.
I replaced mine at 10.000km and it was like-new.
I woulnd't go over 15-16kkm with stock though (10k miles).

I would recommend the oem belt and I have them in stock for 39.95.  I also have the athena belt for 15.95.

I picked up a Malossi X Kevlar Belt - Kymco 125 - 795x19.8x30 for $55 shipped online.  Don't remember what site I got it from.  Works well, seems to have less slap or vibration than the stock OEM one.

It enabled me to run lower weight sliders too.  Now running 3-10.1 & 3-11.5 sliders.  Might up the 11.5s to 11.8.
In a tuck, able to hit 62 on the GPS, about 68mph indicated.  Drafting a car, about 68 GPS.

I'm running the NCY GY6 Trans kit.
