Scooter No power
« on: July 31, 2019, 07:30:55 PM »
Hey hey all,

I was riding my scooter today and noticed my signals were working.  so I pulled over and cut the power to start it up again.  Upon turning the key to on, the dashboard did not turn on and I was unable to start the scooter with the ignition switch.  No clicking, Nothing.  No power whatsoever.  I had to push it home, charged the battery, didn't work.  checked the fuses, still in tact. and now I'm at a loss.  My gas cap has been off for a few days as It wouldn't stay started and I haven't had the chance to drill a hole in the gas cap.  Im wondering if this would have anything to do with it.  Any advice would be great as to what my next steps should be.  Its a 2019 super8 150x, 1300 miles on it.

Thank you and  HELPPPPP

You are the first to beat me to the latest thing I harp on - venting the gas cap! But I am confused by your first indication of trouble that your turn signals "were working" so you pulled over and cut power to start up again. The entire description.....please explain.

What's the voltage on your battery?
Did you try starting it using the kick starter?
