7 mos on a tire plug

Had a screw in center of a 1 year old Michelin Power Pure - plugged it with a "Stop & Go Tire" kit.... one of those mushroom headed plugs.
Checked the cold pressure this evening - still holding perfectly from the repair 7 months, & a couple of thousand miles ago.

They do seem to last a while if done properly. My rear tyre has done at least 10,000km on it and probably has another 10k to go.

If plugged from inside probably ok way to repair tire----but after you go thru the BS to remove tire from rim on current scooters, except BMW, better just to fit new tire and be done with it.

Has anybody tried that balancer/sealant goop that looks like a miracle product? Any downside to it? Does it mess up the inside of the rim? The Youtube video is almost unbelievable: multiple nails, then two drill holes and it still doesn't go flat!

Changed my rear tyre on Oct first 2017 got a screw in it next day put a tyre plug in it it lasted the life of the tyre that was on a cbf 1000

Car and the used to be new Michelin on the bike caught screws early on and have sticky rope plugs. Now the car with Kumhos started a slow leak after a couple of months so I re-plugged it and it is holding well. Intend to leave it until tire replacement. Also have a rope plug in lawnmower tire.

Use Shell SuperNitro in your lawnmower and tires rarely touch the ground.
