Seeing the gauges is always nice.  A definite step up!

Grab a torch and a mirror and have a look up into the caliper to see if you can see anything out of order, it may just be something got caught up there.
ZX50, 47mm cyl. kit, TZR50 CDI. Michelin Pilot Sport tyres,
Next performance mod; pumping the tyres up.

Using torque wrench to loosen bolt (especially one that is very tight) will result in damage to torque wrench rendering it useless for its primary purpose.

..i'd agree with that....

..dang, ...these caliper bolts just arent torqued that tight...oem....

..i've broken 7 sets of caliper bolts loose with a 3/8" drive S&K ratchet/socket..about 8" length ratchet...

..i mean........

Yeah, tried that already, sid, didn't find anything. And I don't see any new scratches or marks anywhere. Thanks, though!

You would have had it fixed already. I know it. You don't have to rub it in, lol.

If it is a 10mm bolt, 12mm head, I doubt you would exceed 140-150 lb/ft of torque.

Thanks, sid. The socket that fits on the bolts is a 12mm, but the ratchet is a short one - like 5 inches long. I found a sturdy longer one, but no sockets for it. It will get sorted out, but I'll probably run out of toilet paper again before then.  :D

Take a hammer and tap it loose. Should come right off.

Pssst...hey, art...don't you know how upset I'll be if I get in there and find out something tore the hell out of them pads or the rotor is warped and me sittin' here with no money to even order more parts?! (I really really wanna go to the store and get a soda, though.)

It realy works, kinda the same princable as an impact wrench. You don't have to whale on them just tap with some force(solid) They will come off.

Torque wrench. A 10mm bolt won't damage it.
