...dang...she's run off with zombie...........

Ha! No...I didn't run off with Zombie...where is he anyway??...but as soon as I could get back online I was looking up Zombie's old posts about recovering files after a reformat. I remembered he mentioned a program that could recover just about anything. Never did find the exact one I needed, though...

I learned that I would miss the internet terribly if I didn't have it!! :)

We could put out an ASB - all scooterists bulletin for them...

Maybe offer a reward for information?

Hey, oswaldters, a stranger walked up to me at the auto parts store and told me they heard your ASB and that I had better get back online!! LOL

We've got some trees down in the yards down here and I can't get it to the road. They're supposed to finish cleaning the mess tomorrow. If they don't I might have to pick up some branches and roll some logs out of the way myself, lol.
Maybe the mess from the storm (?) is taking more of her time than expected. ??? ??? ???

It DID, codger78, and BOY am I glad that is over with!! :)

Welcome back Rianna!

As you can tell, we missed you during your absence.

If nobody beats me to it, I'll look up those torque numbers for you after dinner.

...have to cook for the kids or there's gonna be a mutiny!

If someone could post the torque specs for the axle nut and the brake mount bolts

Axle nut = 5.0-7.0 kfg-m

brake arm bolts = .8 - 1.2 kgf-m

brake pad pin bolts = 1.5 - 2.0 kgf-m

Hope this helps - i assume the torque wrench came with a conversion chart.

If not, use this link to an online converter:  http://www.carsplusplus.com/conv/torque.php

Hope this helps!

Good luck with it.

It's good practice for torquing up the variator nut.

Yeah, I needed that conversion chart, too. Reckon you don't get what you don't pay for. :D

If this muscle relaxer kicks in my back may let me do it tonight...I hope.

Yeah, you don't want to push it.

Let the muscle relaxers do their thing.

Yeah, I didn't push it at all last night, oswaldters. I was asleep before midnight for a change last night. lol. Now how did you know that's what I always do? I always overdo it when I'm feeling good and get as much done as I can while I can. Then I suffer and pay for it. Not last night, though!

I got it almost done now. :)

Glad you're making good progress with it.

I'm terrible about waiting to do things - many a time I've come home from the store with materials and told myself I'll get to it tomorrow.  Later that night I'm busily at work doing it because I can't wait until the next day.

I am, however, going to wait until the weekend until I install the Dr. Pulleys and put my cvt modifications to bed for a while.

Then again, I'm wondering about getting at that clutch to change the contra spring and maybe the clutch springs...
