Weather looks good for tomorrow.

I'll be interested to see if those sliders do anything for the top end speed.  They're supposed to open the ramp plate more and add a little to the top end.

Then I'll have to figure out what to do with the scoot next!

You know, I was thinking about working on the clutch, but I figure it's a waste of my time at this point.

What I need to get on is that free flow air filter and rejetting the carb.

I think I figured out what jets fit in the carb, so now I will have to think about ordering a variety of jet sizes to cover my bases.

Yeah, that air filter will be a good next step. I don't think you'll have any problem with the jets.

There's a thread (somewhere) about jetting 101 or something like that...

Yeah, Word turned me on to that (and where is he by the way?)

With the weather getting colder I don't know that I'm going to be working outdoors on it.

I may have to wait until spring.

Yeah, it's hard to get things done outdoors in the cold with frozen fingers. (He's probably busy welding that frame to stiffen it up and swapping out motors and such.) I wish I could remember that link I had saved about the carb and the jets, it was really good, too...

Well I hope he realizes that he has responsibilities here on the forum...

I think Word posted the pictures just recently (the week when you went off the grid) somewhere in the agility section.

Yeah, it will be really cool to see the Before and After pics. After all the hard work he deserves a great scoot.

As do you!

You have an amazing amount of patience for dealing with all that nonsense.

PBFTTT...I gots NO patience. That's why I take so many breaks! If I don't I'll get ticked off and start throwing things. :)

Yes, but you haven't given up - and that's impressive given what you've been dealing with.

So you're going to try and fix the rotor - or are you just going to order a new one?

Probably both...lol. I can't afford it, though. I'm thinking to start with fresh pads as well. I would like to be able to rule out the caliper first. If it turns out I need it too, it would make sense to pay one shipping fee. (Not that I can afford all three...lol.)

And Oh Yeah...I probably gave up about a hundred times already. :D

The rotor is the most likely culprit don't you thing?

Hopefully you can get someone to look at it and figure out if there's a problem.

Yeah, oswaldters, I'm leaning towards the rotor as the culprit. Just not 100% sure the caliper didn't cause the rotor to have a problem.

If someone had wrecked the scoot (not sure why else they would change out wheel bearings so soon) there's no telling what all they have replaced. And I don't know what the original Kymco parts look like.

Ordering another disc and a set of pads, putting them on, then finding the same problem wouldn't be fun. :(
