If you take the caliper off, or the wheel, remember, do not squeeze the brake lever while the disc is not between the pads. Doing this could push the piston out of the caliper.

Thank You for this, sid! I'm bound to make a mistake (or 5) but you saved me on this one! I appreciate it.

Yeah, fishy, indeed. Kind of puts a dent in my weekend plan, but better safe than sorry. Over the weekend I'll try to catch my friend's son and see if he can loosen them bolts for me so I can get it straight.

..ummm..yeah..new i shouldn't have brought it up...

..dang...

..okay..me and my daughter rode to a natural science center in another city...

..i told her 4 or 5 times to be careful of the pipe when she was dis-mounting...

..well, as soon as we got back home, she hopped of..no problem..

..so did i..but she was having trouble with her helmet strap, i move around behind th scoot to help her and mashed my leg against the pipe...

..i'm trying to play it off, but it blistered the HELL outta my skin..

.."y' really need to watch that muffler, dad..it'l'l burn you bad!!"...

..so.............there it is...
