I am on my SECOND DT300i  since the first was stolen and wrecked. My opinion is the 2013 Downtown 300i was probably THE BEST all around machine that Kymco ever made. It appeared to be a wannabee like the Burgman 400 since it has many similarities, features and dimentions. Much simpler.

The seat is better on the XT for sure. Otherwise they are real similar.

Curious if the 2013 is much different than a 2011? Is that something you`d know? I have an `11 and I sure do like it   8)

Don't know. Saw a 2012 at the dealer where I got the 2013 NOS and could not see any outward differences.

The Xtown has a downsized 276cc engine with less power than the 300i as said above. Other users have noted that it does not have an oil filter. Otherwise I couldn't see much difference in the basic layout.

Are we going to get a separate thread for the X-Town 300i owners?

I'm due to collect mine next week and I'm looking forward to picking up useful hints and tips from this Forum.

Neil
