We'll never know - they can't prove anything since he turned himself in hours later.

But he's in a lot of trouble either way for leaving the scene of an accident - especially with such serious injuries resulting.

Notice to all 30mph moped riders.
Somewhere out there waiting for you is that one guy in five hundred that for sure should not be allowed to drive a car.
I do wish with all my heart that you will never meet up with him, but if that should come to pass, remember this.
All the smart habits you practice every day so that they become automatic will be the weapons in your arsenal helping you to stay alive and in one piece.
Always remember that you are the little fish in a big pond.

Cold mornings now - low to mid-30s, so getting into the winter riding mode early.

had my frist run in with the snow this morning  did perty good. just have to learn to take theam corners a little slower.

Good news that you had no troubles and are still out there riding.

Looks like I'll be getting a refresher course as well in the next couple of days according to the weather man.  Definitely out of the season of leaning far into turns...

ya at times like this I wana tune my scoot down to go slower I stell find my self wanting speed.

I hear you there blue!  I'm the same way and going full out yet I know that I'm driving in the dark and any water could be frozen and hard to see.

hay it beats walking. but when I do get to work on days like this im told im crazy,but yet get the most respect for geting to work.

Yeah, but all those sport biker types aren't feeling so tough as they sit in their cars watching you scoot on by.

There is a certain satisfaction to knowing that people are looking at you and thinking "I can't believe he's riding in 12 degree weather."

It does make you feel kinda badass.
