 I don't think it matters much with the stock set up with mods use the good stuff.
Kymco peoples too many ;) I'm not an expert just a full time hobbiest.

Sorry, missed answering the question about fuel. I use 98 (Shell v~power) in all my bikes, I believe I get better mileage with it which I think negates the extra cost, with bike tanks being so small the cost is hardly noticeable and the extra few k's per tank is a help. Your scooter is designed to run on 91 or higher, so, ultimately the choice is yours.

the fuel is your choice at this point, 87 octane sux anyway. :D  after some modding you should only run 93 octane.... i run 93 w/some octane booster(1-2oz) only in my scooter now.. ;)
