Vitality 2 stroke swapped into Super 8 4 Stroke Scooter

I am looking at picking up a 2009 Vitality 2 stroke for parts. 

Wondering if I could swap out the 4 stroke in my 2015 Super 8 4T. 

It seem that they have a similar drive belt (737mm vs 743mm but it seems these are interchangeable based on looking up part numbers)

Would I also have to swap out the gears as well to match up?

Probably no replies due to not having a clue. Since your Super 8 is the new smaller wheel version it COULD fit so do some measurements and go for it! Some of the 50cc tuners on here may have more expertise on this. Obviously a 2T engine will have more punch than your 4T engine.

So after taking the Vitality plastic off to get a better view it won't go straight swap.  The mounts are different so I guess fix up the vitality and sell it.

Will probably have to find a 2T agility for this.

Still going to take the gears from this one for the Super 8 though.  I am pretty sure there is a 10% increase in there.

As a retired 2T tuner, this sounds like totally nuts!  Much easier, and WAY cheaper, to sell the tiddler and buy something bigger.

has  more to do with the fact I don't want to get a  motorcycle license.  I can drive a "50cc" scooter with my regular drivers license.  The  motorcycle costs an extra $80 a year.

The gears will make all the difference on  my 4T.  its the last restriction plus I can get the Tecni-Gas R type exhaust for it for under $150 Canadian as well

I was under the impression that aftermarket pipes had prretty much no effect, save for noise increase, on a 4 stroke?

You have to upjet for them so there must be something there.

I noticed a difference with i went from stock to 1 step up.  The new exhaust will be 2 steps up

I have a super 8 150. The 150s and 125s are top mounted. A 50cc four stroke typically os bottom mounted. But the 2 strokes are not. They are top mounted. Its possible. But youd have to swap out the whole thing. Including gearbox. But if u can find a whole super 9 motor thatll be dope.

The super 9 gears were great but then they made the 2 stroke super 8 and they were not as good.

Swapping engines is going to cost you way more than $80/year extra!  A 2-stroke will likely last not more than 15,000km, then you'll have to buy a new engine.  You might get 30,000km out of a 4-stroke.  Moving up to a bigger (longer lasting) engine engine might be a whole lot cheaper in the long run.

Well considering I just picked up a used Vitality for $150 and I would still have the old 4 stroke motor as well I would say I am good for the next 10 years at least.  The $80 I save a year will let me buy another used scooter or three I could scavenge from.  Sounds like I am in the words of Charlie Sheen "#winning" here.
