..bang it against a waaallllll.....
..it's a song i've been singing, trying to chase away this frikin' morning lean condition...
..i left out this a.m.@ 62 degrees, and damned near turned right around and went back home to call in late for work...
..as my scoot revved up to take-off speed, she went drastically LEAN..scavenging for fuel....
..so, i backed off the throttle, and went on to work...took me 50 minutes, as opposed to the usual 30-35....i was running a little better than half throttle the whole 17 miles...
..so, it's 88 degrees going home, and STILL, she's lean..revving way high, backfiring at full throttle..while running down th' road...and at hard accelleration...pretty much starving for some fuel, so it seemed...
...get'r home, and prepare to frikin up-jet my carb AGAIN!!
..happened to look at my fuel filter..it's a glass and chrome aftermarket filter, and I SEE HARDLY ANY FUEL IN IT!!!...it's usually at least half full!!
..run out to th' local parts store..they have no cartridges for it..tomorrow, they say...so i buy a cheap plastic one, installed it and all my troubles went away....
..word for the wicked, such as we are...
..the small simple stuff that is easily overlooked will bite your ass....
