I wonder why Kymco didn't bring the AK550  to the US?   I wonder if poor sales of the 700I had something to do with it?

Its a great scooter but I only know 2 other owners in the UK.....

I'm in Sydney Australia .

Aussie's don't understand scooters especially maxis's like the AK 550 . My riding friends are amazed how well this scooter handles and powers out of corners.

Only issue I have is dealer support (lack of)  can't get the simplest information from them. What makes it worse is scarcity of service info on the internet.

Love my AK  anyways.

There is another owner who lives in Greece I think. Goes by the name Biketrips, look him up on YouTube. He films his AK550 rides all the time.
Even told me about the free upgrades Kymco rolled out recently

The free upgrades,have you had your AK upgraded?  If yes, did your dealer just know about them?
