I see Stig talking about windshield again----having spent tons of money on them over the years, riding year around in some crappy conditions (Tacoma WA and Germany come to mind)-----most on market are crap.
Case of maxi scooters, like My 2019 XTown 300i------your nose is just too far from tip of shield---about 24 inches from my nose to tip of shield with Laminar Lip bolted on----about 9-12 inches, look over for buffet free ride ideal. Additional: With narrow stock shield like that came on my bike, air actually picks up speed at goes around the narrow shield----makes you colder in winter and wetter in rain.
For Like---shield needs to be wide, right height to look over. If I buy new Like 150 in spring, I think I can figure out right windshield combo for comfortable and safe riding.
Right now my XTown is about as windshield comfortable as going to get---Puig Touring screen, cut down 4 inches, Laminar Lip bolted on, rising an inch or so above top of shield-----provides fairly buffet free look over ride---good as any maxi scooter I have had (on 11th new one right now, over 400,000 miles with them since 1990.
Too bad makers do not put more interest in developing better windshields-----but in most cases the designers and bean counters are not daily all weather riders.
Note: Vespa big frame scooters can be made buffet/breeze free/look over with right windshield/height----I had 4 in past, but not for me now=price/no dealers in US/new ones not so reliable, etc.
