Hmmm..never noticed that tendency. Both DT300i  with the Maxxis tires would RESIST entering a turn, would pressure to exit and follow every groove and ridge. With Metzeler or Michelins the handling was neutral, light and DELIGHTFUL! Would not follow grooves or ridges. The sensation with a heavy weight on the rear carrier was kind of "tender" or sensitive to sudden inputs when counter steering around potholes but normal lane following was unaffected. Have no idea what would cause yours to tighten the turn.

I took it out for an hour ride just a few minutes ago. Man, it rides like it's on rails. It feels stuck to the road.  It is great!

Great news, good to read!

So, I've put about 750 miles on since putting the new front tire.  Next up is... a rear tire! Yes, its now down to the wear indicators so I am going to give it a match to the front (Stig!).  In other news, I have added one of those cheapy ebay/china bars between the mirrors to add accessories (sat nav, a voltmeter, maybe a wireless controller for my heated clothing or a phone holder.   I am currently working at getting my Reflex back on the road (its nice to be able to work on one while riding the other).  As soon as it is ready (next week)  I am going to take apart the back for that rear tire.  While at it, I am going to take off the front and replace the accessory jack fuse holder with a blade type, and up the fuse to 3A.  I am going to install an additional 15A line from the battery to an SAE connection in that box.  That will bring all the power I need up front.  The voltmeter is a cheap $12 dual usb type. It is the same brand of tender that I use, available on amazon.  Here is what it current looks like...

Looking good RD.  Can you still have a clear view of the clocks (Speedo etc.) as it's hard to tell from the photos?
