And for the second day in a row... TODAY! Today started cold... 36F. By the time I got back home, it was 32F! I am pretty sure that some of the shaded/icy north sides of the mountains were in the 20s. I ran heated gear... jacket liner and glove liner. The jacket was toasty, but the gloves that were plugged into the jacket were too cold. Next time, Im putting them on a separate controller. But that jacket! My core was nice and warm even at the lowest temp I hit today. Anyway, I started out trying to do a mirror image of the Suches Loop ,but ran into all kinds of dirt roads that weren't listed as so in Basecamp. It slowed me down by an hour and a half. No problem, except that I was exposed an extra hour and a half. The Downtown ran that jacket and not once did I feel like I was too cold. Total mileage: 81.8 miles.
