..i know of one 2009 a50 that did not have the wire...

..think there was another 2010 that had to replace, other than cut...

..that's all i recall...

..it COULD BE...

..that the wire moved a bit when that epoxy was filled in over the circuit board assembly...

..i mean, that's all this thing is...a circuit board with various components sitting in a plastic tub, filled in with epoxy, that hardened after it was filled...


..that wire would be free to move around a bit, i would think, during assembly....

I haven't used any eproxy yet, oh right nvm i know what you mean

so the wire goes round inside the plastic case and it don't matter where i cut it?
