Can't wait to gas-up & go again!
« on: January 08, 2020, 03:22:46 PM »
Between a big case of the flu and the cold - it has been too long!

I always use a Top Tier fuel - which costs no more per gal.

….get back out there with the zoomies!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

It’s more the wet and salt-encrusted roads which have left me with cabin fever for almost two weeks now.  Hoping for a weather window tomorrow...

Sorry you got the flu. Glad you're feeling better and back on the road again. I caught it in December and it was a pain.

Your picture of filling your tank reminded me of another nice thing about my Grand Vista... the locking gas cap isn't under the seat. I used to have trouble keeping fuel from overflowing under the seat in my Aprilia SC250.

Take care, Stig, and stay healthy.

Can't speak for the rest of the Kymco range, but was pleased to note on acquisition that my X-Town 300i has the filler cap behind a hinged plate below the headstock.  Much more sensible.

Yeah, I guess a lot of riders bungee their live chickens on the rear of the seat. So opening to refuel would be a bother.
Me, I've had 2 with, and 2 without …. Never a bother either way, since I carry my chickens in my jacket.

So that's how you keep warm on these sub-zero rides...
