Compared to my like 200i this thing has some wicked acceleration. Didn't go wide open at all but gave it a little gas on the home stretch and it was definitely enough to impress me and my ride there who was following me home.

The LIKE200i is a great scooter - but a Rocket it ain't.
Like me-self, it starts running out of breath after 55😊

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I was 50 pounds heavier back then too probably makes a bit of a difference.

I have the XT300i (since last September) so basically the same engine and like you Mickelous, I was favourably impressed with the acceleration after my Honda PCX125.  The handling was also far better and I'm really looking forward to Spring when it will get to stretch its legs on some longer runs!

Enjoy your DT and make sure to post us some pictures.

Warm enough here in the afternoon for a comfortable ride.  Riding last night was a bit chilly but I'm weather spoiled in florida anything under 65 is freezing.

Wet today, but hoping for a dry day tomorrow and a quick blast out.

Went to the DMV to register at 4:30 yesterday and they closed early "due to volume".  Wasn't meant to be.

Looks great Mickelous!  Like the Givi screen too.

Very nice! I may have to investigate that windscreen when the OEM screen gets gnarly on mine!

Yep, it will be aftermarket. Probably added to reduce wind buffeting?

So I didn't have the battery "tended" for about a day or so and it was having a hard time starting after work.  Regulator or bad battery?  Got a new one coming in.  Is the regular a cheap part and how hard is it to replace?

The regulator isn't long-lasting by design but luckily it's easy to replace. After removing the seat bucket, the reg is only held on by two nuts on the right hand side of the frame.
Kymco knew about this so they used a new reg design in the DT350i.
