How did you find the Kymco forum?
« on: February 23, 2020, 03:20:21 AM »
I  was  searching the internet to try to find out how to change the battery in the clock on my 2006 People 150.  Found out how on this forum kind of funny the dealer didn't know as well.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

You discovered this factoid, too? Yeah, this is a pretty good outfit. Too bad the dealers and their techs don't tap into the forum knowledge base!

(as usual, we're getting answers to two different questions :)*)

Anyway, in April of 2013 I probably saw this forum listed when I did a google search looking for info about my planned purchase of a Kymco LIKE200i.
At that time I also found www.justgottascoot.com - which has some great scooter reviews.

Oh, yeah, the original question... Jan 2009 internet search turned up this forum to find out what the little bag of parts were for in a new Agility 50.

Cannon Ball 2020, are you talking about the coast to coast run on a scooter?

I found the forum probably just about a year ago, while looking for information about the UVX450. I would have to say that the feedback and conversations I found on the side-by-side forum here, from actual 450 owners, was a major part of my decision to ultimately purchase one in March 2019. I went into my SxS shopping process almost certain I would purchase a Kawasaki Mule SX, only to "discover" KYMCO at my local Kawasaki dealer. Like many folks, I was like, "What's a KYMCO?"

After reading about what a good experience other owners have had, in terms of performance and reliability, it made me feel very comfortable in purchasing a leftover 2018 model at a very attractive price (plus extended warranty promotion) vs. the Kawasaki. I have not regretted my decision. So, many thanks to all the forum users for making this is a valuable community not only to existing KYMCO owners, but those seeking reliable information about the brand.

As I have discussed with some of you on other threads, KYMCO suffers greatly from a near total lack of marketing in the US market. Given the quality of its products, I truly believe KYMCO could win significant market share if consumers knew how its machines stacked up against the competition. Based on how many complaints I hear from Polaris and Can-Am owners, I think the "value" offered by KYMCO off-road machines is likely second to none.
