Finally a nice day. On my project People 250S I just changed the left front winker (blinker). Now the broke speedometer cable. I can find all kinds of them on ebay but they are all in Greece or the UK so a trip to the dealer is in order. The overseas speedometer cable wasn't bad price wise but shipping was like $46. and the long wait.
I know the owner of the dealership and he is willing to replace the crankshaft if I decide not to tackle splitting the case. His recommendation was to try to find a used engine. So I'm in no hurry to get it on the road. I did purchase insurance and a tag so I could get the title in my name. Insurance was $22. A year for the most basic coverage I could get. Getting it licensed for the remainder of the year and next year was around a $100.
