While we wait
« on: March 21, 2020, 06:33:51 PM »
Hope everyone is doing well while we weather out this virus. I plan on doing some maintainence on my 450i while we wait for this all to pass.  Good thing my buggy doesnt carry a virus!  Once the weather breaks I am gong to do a little riding as I can certainly keep a safe distance from others, in fact I rarely see others on the trail.  If we all stay healthy ad eat right we can get thru this more quickly as it appears to strike those in poorer health.  Be safe and keep posting to help pass the time more quickly.

I hope I didn't kill my battery, absentmindedly left the key on a few days ago.  hooking my battery tender up to it, see what happens, it was dead, outdoors, and below freezing at times

Ouch, completely dead usually kills them.  They might come back partially but never really full charge.  Is it an agm or a refilliable liquid cell.  I understand that sealed agm batts have a small chance of recovery but liquid filliable type once dead they stay that way.   I have a deep cycle agm battery for a wheelchair, same size and appearance as my utv battery, that I use around my property to run my lawn sprayer and electric boat motor in my pond.  I let it go dead by accident about 6 months back. So dar it seems to have recovered, but until I put a real load on it, I wont know for sure.
