Looking at Kenda Cruiser K671 for a people 250 any good?

I snatched them off of my LIKE200iLX 7yrs ago. Only about 300 miles on them.
I think I'm above you here in Ohio..
.could roll them down I-70 to Kansas.

They are 110/70-16 and 140/70-16 on the People 250

Well, I purchased the LIKE200I for all weather work commuting. ....and when I queried experienced Kymco owners for recommendations or mods for my all-weather commuting  - they advised me to replace the Kendas with City Grips, soonest.
I did, and never looked back.
The Michelins proved to be great tires for me.
Just put a another one on, after 15,000 miles.

Thanks for the feedback the Kenda tires were  150 for the front and rear where the Michelin Tires were 238 for a set.  Since this bike will be used for guests to ride on short rides in good weather I was looking at saving some money.  My xciting's all have Michelin that I take on long trips. The only tires I found that were lower cost was Shinko for 120 for a set.  Did not know if it was a traction issue or a longevity issue about the cheaper tires.

As the cheap tires are single compound the highest mileage tires I had felt like riding on plastic wheels, whereas the couple performance sets lasted 2000mi. Pretty much a trade-off between the two.

Wow, the sizes which that 150 needs are expensive tires! I could get out the door with a pair of Michelins dealer-installed for less than that $238!

With a fleet to buy shoes for I understand why you'd be looking to save some $ on what will be a lightly used, fair weather scooter.
Surely the less expensive tire sets are not going to throw riders on the ground....or they wouldn't be offered by firms like Revzilla.
