Hey guys. I've been working on a bit of a Frankenstein super 9 for quite some time due to the lack of fun parts for the scooter.
Does anyone know if the drive face on the front pulley (the metal plate with the plastic fan blades on it) is interchangeable with the gy6 139qmb one? They look very similar, have the same bore diameter and # of teeth.
Mine skittered off at just over 14,000 rpm (very, very high strung engine at this point) due to some stupidity in starting it with a drill while cvt tuning and ended up in the evil neighbors yard. He has decided he would rather keep it himself and has bribed it for more than its worth
oh well.
On a side note, has anyone successfully put a inner rotor ignition on a s9 LC? The stock ignition is holding up somehow at high revs but i'm sure the timing curve is far from ideal.
