Anyone else put flowers on your bike in the 60's?
« on: April 07, 2020, 12:05:41 AM »
I stopped my thumbing around the west coast long enough to marry a girl with flowers in her hair in Los Angeles in 1967.
Our first vehicle was a new white Honda 90.
She added a bunch of those stick-on vinyl flowers to the bike....and, later, to our red VW bus.
I guess you had to be there..... :)

This picture of a Honda reminded me of that. Haven't seen those flowers in years!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

You definitely DID have to be there Stig, as I’m sure your kids never tire of pointing out to you! Mine certainly do. [emoji23]

If only I could get through just one Xmas without my Mom retelling my kids about the time I was arrested in Paris.
Other than that, I'm thinking I must* have had a hell of a good time back there in the 60's.

You must be one of the few ‘Nam Vets to be able to claim that!
