Bike moves forward on it's own?
« on: April 19, 2020, 12:12:04 PM »
It had done this twice in the last two days.  I start up the bike it was fine as it warmed up and as soon as I slightly touched the gas it would change and idle fast and move forward on it's own.  I would go someplace stop and start up again and it would be fine.  What is happening?

Enrichment circuit in EFI (choke) slow to let go when cold starting? would be my guess.
With warm starts, ECU says no enriching needed.
Has bike been sitting alot this winter? See if it starts acting normal after several rides.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Yes it has been sitting for a few months.  OK will watch how it gets along.  How do I fix it if it is what you said?

Ride it several times and see if it clears....or try the re-set, initializing.
Maybe a 300 owner can tell you how to do that?
