That stuff looks like grease it's also on my scooter as well but in the handlebar area

For as much as they globbed in there it didn't stop any of the rubbing and squeaking noises. Looks like it ended up in all the wrong places.

Yes, I agree it does look that way in most of the pictures. That one of the steering bearings though looks as though it's coming right out of it. Maybe somebody tried to glop some up in there.

just a suggestion rianna. Did you get your scoot from a dealer or private owner.If from a dealer
I would see if they can help you out you did just get it right. maybe if they want good business
they might help you out with out soaking you for a whole lot.
