« on: September 26, 2010, 04:41:57 PM »
Does anyone know where the spark plug is located in the Agility 50 scooter? I can't find it. Thanks.

Hi, RedneckScooterRider, in the manual it shows it under seat/met-in box area. Welcome to the forum.

I did that I cleaned it good but it wasn't working. So got to buy a new spark plug so hopefully I'm riding again soon.

Thanks. Well I checked everything pretty much, got a new battery, checked the fuses (seemed good), checked the wiring (good), checked the oil, checked the air filter, then found the spark plug cleaned it no luck and my uncle said it was fouled and something about the gap was kinda big and also it wasn't sparking. So hopefully the spark plug is the only problem I need to fix this Friday if not I gotta get it serviced. :(

It sounds like it but it also sounds like it just wants to die everytime I tried starting it

Its a used 2005 Kymco Agility 50. When I bought it from a lady it had 159 miles on it but now has 1725 miles on it from me riding it a lot. It was practically like new.

..yup...still is new...

..you can remove the plug, re-connect it to the cable..lay the threads against the metal part of the scoot's frame, then try to start it, observing the plugs gap, looking for a blue spark...

..that'll tell you if it's firing..

I did all that and even cleaned it good, checked the gap which was kinda big, layed it against the metal part of the scooter had no luck. Thanks for helping I asked so many people about the spark plug and this site was the only one that actually gave me info lol.
