..pulls relatively "dry" air into your K&N, even in th pouring rain...

..itsa quart-sized spray bottle...cut to fit...i already had the hole in the end of my k&n...just captured the end of th'....well..you see...

You need something there - that rain will get into everywhere.  

Last winter we had a rain storm that I rode home in which was followed by a massive cold front that night.  

Water go into the throttle grip and froze.  Next morning  I could roll on the throttle - but it wouldn't return to idle automatically.  So every time I wanted to slow down I had to manually roll the throttle back.  

After I got back home I had to get a hairdryer out and defrost the thing.

..my delima was a drastic drop in performance, when riding in the rain...

..which i do, when it rains...ride, that is...

..this little addition draws air from the front of the engine, shielded by all the tupperware, thus drier...

..it also eliminates the introduction of spray from the rear tire...
