Who has the highest milage Kymco scooter?

I bought a 06 Kymco People 250 scooter (Not my People 250S) as a parts bike for very little money.  I put fresh gas in it and it fired up. The standard people 250 has 65,000 miles on the odometer.  The standard people was purchased new by a coworker of the manager of a Hobby Lobby.  The manager bought it at 45k and drove it to 66k before giving it to his grandson.  The grandson didn't ride it and sat in a shed for 4 years. He brought it home to sell and wanted it out of the garage for woodworking projects since he had recently retired.

The People 250S with the bad splines on the crankshaft for the variator* is my second highest at 9,000 miles.

* A so called mechanic at a Scooter dealership in KC changed the belt and didn't properly tighten the variator nut and destroyed the crankshaft.

Like anything else in life there's good and bad mechanics, same with dealerships.  But this is a different thread about who has the highest milage Kymco scooter.

Looking at my 2019 XTown 300i at 10,000 miles----I usually get rid of them at 50,000, just because I hate the bother and spending money---I like ridding under warranty.

Point here, I am sure somebody could get 100,000 out of this model used as transportation.

John G you are truly the only person I know who gets full advantage of the Kymco warranty.  Just completed a purchase on a 2009 Xicting 250RI with 1610 miles on it. That’s 146.36 miles a year.

 You probably do that or more in miles in a week then the total on this machine. I never thought these inexpensive machines would hold up so well.
