I may not make lots of crazy mods, but I'll ride in crazy weather.  I guess we're all crazy in our own way.

The weather forecast I heard for the east coast is calling for a relatively mild early and late winter.  mid-winter is projected to be extremely cold.

That'll make for some tough predawn rides.

I can totally understand that.

One of the things I like about riding in winter is nobody else is foolish enough to do it.  When the weather warms up suddenly there are lots of scooters and motorcycles around and all the motorcycle parking spots are taken. 

Couple of months and it'll be wide open.

Yes, at the subway station. 

They are the only spots that are free of charge (for now).

I just use the bike rack so I can lock to something solid, but there are other scoots that use the motorcycle spots.
