cutting out when turning right
« on: July 03, 2020, 03:47:55 AM »
Hello all,

I just purchased a 2018 "new" Kymco 700i LE and when I was driving it today fresh of the trailer from the dealership it had a issue of cutting out. I thought it could be old gas that needs to be ran out, and the dealership sent a tech to my house to change the spark plug.  That worked for a while and ran great, but after riding it about 30 min it starting cutting out when I turn right. I felt like a UPS driver on the way back home making the trip making as many left turns that I could to get home.

Has anyone seen this issue. I feel its coming from bad gas because the tank is on the right side and the fuel is moving to the left, or the power assisted steering.

Sounds electrical to me - probably just a loose terminal block somewhere.

I'd take it right back to the dealership - they shouldn't have let it out like that

Sounds electrical to me as well. Old gas is usually very difficult to start and would be consistent regardless of turning right or left unless it was low on fuel. How much fuel in the tank?
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

If you've plenty of fuel in the tank....yeah, return it to the dealer.
As a new owner, it is their problem, not yours.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.
