Hello,

This one seems odd.  When I drive the normal oil light comes on initially.  Then it goes off.  Though eventually, it comes back on and also flashes when the blinker is on.  My oil level is fine, I just filled it again to make sure.

I wonder if my reversing the battery caused some electrical problems.  Any ideas/thoughts?  I didn't find anything specific in the forums for this issue.

Thanks,
express

Might not help your issue but I have a similar problem. My blinkers will hyper flash until I turn on my headlights, then they operate normally.

Try turning your headlights on/off see what happens.

As long as They operate I’m happy.

Tried that and still have the issue.  Awhile back I put the battery on backwards.  I had to replace the fuse.  I wonder if it is something related to that.

The oil light also flashes when I release the breaks.

I’ll try and diagnose it in a couple of weeks and report back if I find anything.

My battery hasn't been able to start my zx50,  I have been having to kick start every time.  Even after long drives, the battery still doesn't start it.  It tries to turn over, but just cant do it.
I just hooked up the battery to a charger for about 5 mins.  It said it was charged...I hooked it back up and it started it up right away.

Any thoughts on what this could be?  The battery is less than 12 months old.  I am going to return it and see if I can get an exchange...it has a 12 month warranty.

Could it be something else other than the battery?  Maybe bad battery is causing the light issues, or something with my electrical that it isn't charging the battery while driving it?

Thanks!
