Leg cover?

Riding in winter (California) can be hard because an hour on the freeway can lower my core temperature. Too much of that and I get sick.
I see a leg cover. Has anyone used "leg covers?"

you don't see much of that in the US...but when you look at other parts of the world where scooter riding is much more popular you see all kinds of cold weather riding aids. Leg covers, big hand mits, etc.

Not all of California is warm of a winter. I lived in Modesto and winter could be cold and damp with a heavy Tule fog that can cut visibility to zero.

Best in winter=proper riding suit!!  Aerostich ( one and two piece) have worked well for me for the past 30 years.   Each suit lasts about 100,000 miles.   Worn out they still bring good money from idiots who want to look like they ride a lot.

Lap robes may make getting feet out quickly in real slippery conditions!

I rode to work all winter (50 mile round trip) in Delaware one year.  Wore a snowmobile suit and down mittens.

I do own a 1 piece suit however true comfort on a 4 lane or in the chill of back roads farmland is still an issue.
If I were to ride from here to Idaho in winter I sure want to be comfortable hour after hour.
It looks like the Myroad has accessories!

OMG They cost $1200 or more! $1400 was the one on their site.
I expect in suit heating for that price.
Well I do have a powerball ticket so we shall see.

As for the apron, they must work well as v popular among the scooter mounted couriers in all major European cities. Coupled with handlebar muffs, a cost-effective alternative to an Aerostitch suit!

Jackets are fairly simple taking off at work, but the lowers can be a bit troublesome. I prefer leather buckle on chaps to full winter pants on those sharp biting days.

On the rainy days a Coleman rain suit goes under them. I'm cheap on personal comfort such as weather impedance although I do pay whatever is necessary for proper crash protection. Aerostich suits are among the best and I would get a pair if I had a 10 grand sport bike and rode track. I just can't justify the cost for riding what everyone around here calls the "liquorcycle".

Driving a scoot in these parts is equivalent to wearing an "I'm a drunk driver" t-shirt. I see a bunch out front at the local pop-a-top pub.

I might add---Aerostich has rain pants with SIDE ZIP for under $100----the side zip makes getting on and off easier without taking boots off----their expensive suits and most pants have this feature,too.

Lap robes were used by Portland OR police about 40 years ago, too.
