Bedtime reading?
« on: July 16, 2020, 01:56:34 AM »
Anyone else read a few pages of their scooter owners manual at bed time , to end your day on a nice scootering note?
My Piaggio manual is over 320 pages long. With lots of charts and pictures. And some of it is in English!

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

I'm learning Taiwanian creole from my Kymco manual. Who knows, might come in handy someday.

Have you ever seen a Kymco manual that delt with setting the clock? Newer manuals might be better at this. On some of my older machines the closest it got was a arrow pointing to the dash with the word clock.  If it wasn’t for the good people on this forum I would have never know how to change the battery in the clock on my People 150.

lately, researching replacement engines for my K-Pipe,  seriously looking at bumping up to 212cc/5spd, I'm told I'll be able to cruise @60 easily rather than struggle to get to 54

Could go with a small turbocharger for a large increase. ;D

or I can ride my V-strom,  at 125cc, the K-Pipe has me rowing the shifter a lot on the hilly terrain, if I go south and east, the terrain becomes flatter, but a lot of these local hills, I can barely keep 2nd gear, I'm not a speed demon, but I like to keep up with traffic, for safety sake

But do you write Mandarin manuals and say they're Mandarin. Good point though.
