What glove do you use?
« on: July 25, 2020, 05:06:34 PM »
I never ride without wearing a leather glove.

Found these 'Skeleton' ICON gloves on sale at Revzilla several yrs ago. Not crazy about the macho design.
On a scooter....sorry, macho not happening except in our own minds :)
Velcro wrist straps to keep them on in an 'off'.
Both pair have survived rains …..just set them out to dry on paper towels and let them dry slowly, without heat.

Maybe 8 years, 35,000 miles on 4 scooters....plenty of life yet in them.

New looked like this.....

Image please....what do you wear?

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Warm: Aerostich elkskin ropers.  They last up to 100,000 miles.  Down to about 40 F---Langlitz Gauntlets.

Real Cold: various cheap ski gloves, sometimes covered by Aerostich overmitts.   Wet: Aerostich over mitts.

I'll play! Go to glove is shorty, perforated leather Alpinestars Celer with hard knuckles. Very comfortable and does get some airflow.

Newer glove is Cortech Impulse RR (same one that Cycle Cruza wore, haha!). High viz gauntlet. Looks really cool with my 2 jackets that have high viz in them.  Wear these when I want a little more protection.

I have a collection of Joe Rocket and Taichi gloves that are comfortable,  don't know offhand what my winter gloves are.  I usually wear them for motorcycle/scooter toy runs around Christmas time.  This year because of the faring and tall windscreen on the scooter I'll take it instead of the bike that has almost no protection from the elements.
In parts 200S and Grand Vista and my motorcycles 2 CS BMW'S and one GS BMW.

Sold-32 Kymco scooters of various sizes this summer.

Try to stick with my Dainese gloves, although I do have a pair of Alpinestars I use too.

I use a lot of Dainese stuff as it once saved my hide in a 70 mph off and slide which I got up and walked away from. Not something I plan to repeat, but I like the insurance.
